It’s About Time We Introduced Ourselves
So the past 6 weeks have been what I would call “mad”! But we did it. ‘It’ being getting DomainFace launched and in the hands of thousands of happy users (Note: you ‘aint seen nothing yet). With all the madness of getting the product launched we’d kinda forgotten to introduce ourselves properly.
Well, let me put that straight now – I’m Kenny Goodman and I suppose you would call me a Domain Geek! I pretty much eat, sleep and breathe domain names and as sad as it sounds, it actually does make me happy.
While I am involved in other niches my main passion is buying, selling, brokering and leasing virtual real estate (domain names, blogs, websites etc.).
In November 2009 I was plucked from obscurity by the undisputed king of awesome, Ed Dale. Ed convinced me I would indeed survive the ordeal of speaking at his famous 30 Day Challenge Coming Home Conference in the UK.
Turns out Ed was right (he always is!) – I did survive and because I was so far out of my comfort zone, it was probably one of the key milestones of my life. Thanks Ed.
I talk a lot about domain names on my personal blog – you can find it here and my most recent post is the first in a series of interviews with some of internet marketing’s heavy weights.
The fab Michelle MacPhearson tells us how she got into internet marketing and discusses her experise and experience with domain names.
Listen to the interview here and discover how she went from Admin Assistant to Internet Marketing Guru in the space of just 5 years.
So who are the other faces behind DomainFace?
Well there are others but some of them are so geeky they prefer to remain anonymous. You know the type, they code all night, don’t come out in the day time and have that slightly mad look in their eyes ☺
Claire is the face behind our customer service and support at DomainFace and is based in Manchester. She’s on a personal mission to keep our customers happy and answer your questions, so don’t be shy!
Nathan is our lead developer and jack of all trades in internet marketing skills. We try to make sure he has a fresh supply of fizzy coding drinks at all times so that he doesn’t have to sleep when he should be coding.
Someone else who deserves a massive mention is Donal and although he doesn’t like the limelight it’s worth noting that he gives a lot more advice and direction than he would care to admit. Along with his addiction to domain name buying, Donal is also a product launch manager.
Other notable contributors, supporters and helpers on the DomainFace journey so far include: Ed Dale, Dan Raine, Guru Bob (and rest of 30DC Team) Eugene Ware, Brent Hodgson (and entire Nobel Samurai Team) along with Rick Power & John Gregory
